The Company

Our client is a family-owned business operating over four generations and specializing in plumbing services in the greater Montreal area. The company operates in commercial, residential, industrial and institutional sectors for all service needs in the areas of plumbing, heating or natural gas. Its services are wide ranging, from repairs, renovations, drainage work, installation of water meters, reconstruction of boiler rooms, home automation systems and heating systems.

KEY CHALLENGES

Under the authority of the Office Manager, the warehouse coordinator has the following responsibilities:

 

Manage local inventory of products and equipment;

• Analyze inventory data for inventory replenishment;

• Receive orders and create purchase and delivery orders by phone or email;

• Perform regular inventory counts and a physical and computer inventory check (input and output);

• Follow up with different product suppliers and invoice tracking;

• Plans and makes sure to obtain the delivery vouchers for the picking of the goods according to the delivery times;

• Ensures efficient management of the inventory and location of the goods in the appropriate locations;

• Maintain a strong relationship of trust with suppliers;

• Perform the required follow-ups to ensure that everything has been done to the satisfaction of the internal client;

• Coordinate with various departments to obtain materials required for various jobs;

• Keep project managers informed of any unexpected or unforeseen changes of the resources or material planning;

• Coordinating repair of tools and other equipment when required;

• Keeping a record of tools maintenance;

• Any other related tasks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

       Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;

       Knowledge of plumbing is essential;

       MS Office knowledge;

       Diploma or certificate in collegial study;

       Logistics experience;

       Bilingual French / English.
